Recent EventsHalloween Zoo Night, November 1, 2008Over 250 members braved the rain to support our annual Halloween Zoo Night. Event sponsors included Pizza My Heart and Cannonball Wines. Next year's event will be held Friday, October 30, 2009.
Moms & Muffins, September 14, 2008This new members-only event was a fun morning for the whole family. We served yummy muffins, Peet's Coffee, yogurt, fruit, and juice to over 200 members.We also hosted an exciting silent auction with goodies for moms like massages, facials, etc. A Big Thank You to our event sponsor The Four Seasons Silicon Valley Spa in East Palo Alto. Exhibit Party, June 27, 2008The Friends hosted a members-only opening night party for the new museum exhibit, "Clean Green Energy Machines!" A big thank you to Roxy Rapp, Pizza My Heart, and Cannonball Winery for sponsoring the event. This exciting exhibit explores green living and renewable energy. With additional funding, we hope to expand the exhibit and open a second phase in April 2009, to coincide with Earth Day. If you haven't seen the new exhibit, please stop by the museum soon.
Dads & Donuts, April 6, 2008Read more... Our April 2008 Dads & Donuts was a great success! Over 125 member families joined us for a Sunday morning of Krispy Kreme Donuts, Peet's Coffee, fruit, yogurt, and juice. A special performance by Dan Chan the Magic Man was a crowd pleaser, as well as some exciting hands-on exhibits with the animals and Zoo staff.
