Recent EventsDads & Donuts, April 6, 2008Our April 2008 Dads & Donuts was a great success! Over 125 member families joined us for a Sunday morning of Krispy Kreme Donuts, Peet's Coffee, fruit, yogurt, and juice. A special performance by Dan Chan the Magic Man was a crowd pleaser, as well as some exciting hands-on exhibits with the animals and Zoo staff.
Halloween Zoo Night, November 2, 2007Read more... Zoo Night is traditionally the most popular Friends event and the 2007 event was the best attended yet. Over 250 attendees, many in Halloween costumes, enjoyed a special evening with the Zoo staff and our guest instructors from Classroom Safari and California Bat Conservation Fund. It was a memorable evening with Gryphon the alpaca, Ron the albino python, Jumanji the African serval, and numerous bats and other exotic animals including a red tegu and fennec fox. Pizza, muffins, apples, and refreshments were served. Candy gift bags and FPAJMZ puzzles were distributed to all children.
